Mark Potter to Present at 2021 Leadership Conference
After extremely positive feedback from the 2020 Leadership Conference, we are excited to bring back Mark Potter to present Your Marketing Ecology on Monday, September 13 at 9:30 am.
It is important to discuss the ecology and consciousness that shapes us all in the current landscape. Long before the pandemic, a hyper-individualistic culture has dominated. And now that we are more alone than ever, there must be a new way of being that we aspire to. In turn, businesses must start to determine how to develop trust in a very untrusting environment and develop their own marketing ecology. They must try to develop a community, and Mark will share some ideas on how to get it done so you can ratchet your business upward.
Mark Potter is the CEO of Conduit Inc, a content marketing organization, which produces a variety of custom publications and community-building programs for brands all over the country. He is the owner of CANVAS Magazine and the author of the book, Egrets, Hockey Sticks, & Roller Skates.
Mark launched Conduit Inc. in 2007 and has built it into a robust, award-winning agency. Before chasing his dream of building connections for his clients through the use of storytelling, Mark was the Vice President of Marketing for Unisource Worldwide, where he was responsible for directing strategic marketing for the $6 billion company. Mark has created, sourced and launched multiple brands and effectively established and managed a variety of successful product segments over his career.
Mark holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Hilton School of Business at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. He defines himself as a husband, a father, a marketing mind and a really bad adult league hockey player. He currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his wife, Alicia and two kids, Joey and Laney.

We will kick off our conference on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Quest Conference Center in its NEW location! This location is located just behind the old location in the Polaris area of Westerville, OH. It boasts larger and updated rooms all on just one floor, beautiful views, ample parking and updated air quality systems in place.
After the education sessions are done for the day, we will be hosting our annual Casino Night. Grab a drink and join us for an evening of entertainment and catching up with friends in the industry! You could win some great prizes by playing games of chance.
We will end the conference on September 13 with a celebration of the best of the best printing in Ohio, Michigan and Northern Kentucky. This gala event is the culmination of our regional awards ceremonies and will bring together the winners of those events to recognize the best in each category and ultimately the Best of Show in each of the four size divisions. You'll also see the Judge's and Rising Star Awards presented. Bring your artistic eye with you as you'll have the opportunity to choose this year's Grand Ceremony People's Choice Award.

Golf
The Annual Graphic Media Alliance Sterling Distribution Golf Tournament will be held at the Delaware Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio (just north of Columbus) on Tuesday, September 14! Shotgun start will begin at 9:00 am. The original nine holes at Delaware were designed by famed golf architect, Donald Ross, and the newer nine by Fuzzy Zoeller. Delaware is a unique and challenging course that will set the stage for a great day of golf.
This will be an incredible opportunity to get out and enjoy a great round of golf and networking, not to mention the great food and drink!
