Job Description:
Assist the 1st and 2nd pressmen in setting up the machine and maintaining the rolls needed for each job.
Job Requirements:
- Mount preps and splice paper, verify in accordance to job specifications and maintain acceptable “splice made” efficiency
- Set up and maintain levels on ink fountain, UV units, glue units and etch tanks
- Have rolls ready for jobs and inspect rolls for damage, or potential problems- splices, wrinkles, etc
- Maintain clean ink fountains, glue units, UV units and etch tanks
- Mount and change plates and blankets
- Report time and production results accurately; record rolls in technique systems correctly
- Follow proper work procedures; provide general and preventative maintenance as needed specially for the press and inline sections
- Know and understand the General Worker’s job and help them out when needed
Shifts / Pay Rate
- 1st shift- 7:30am-4:00pm
- 2nd shift- 4:00pm-12:30am
- 3rd shift- 12:30am-7:30am
$16-$19/hr
