2026 Wage + Benefits Survey: Know Where Your Company Stands

Are you paying competitive wages? How do your employee benefits compare to other printing companies? And what trends should you consider as you prepare your workforce strategy for 2027?

The 2026 Wage + Benefits Survey results are now available, providing printing and graphic communications companies with valuable industry benchmarks to help answer these important questions.

Conducted through a collaborative effort involving 12 printing association partners, this year's survey includes wage submissions from 307 participating companies, representing 192,365 data points across more than 200 industry positions.

A Few Key Findings from the 2026 Survey:

  • Production wages increased approximately 4% from 2025 to 2026, with a cumulative increase of approximately 12% since 2022.
  • Employee turnover declined to 11.6%, compared to 12.6% in 2025 and 15.7% in 2022.
  • Benefits remained relatively stable, although meaningful differences exist by region and company size.
  • A new Wide Format report provides additional industry-specific benchmarks for this growing segment of graphic communications.

Beyond compensation, the comprehensive reports explore employee benefits, workforce policies, regional differences, and company-size comparisons. An interactive Analytics Portal provides access to more than 960,000 data points, allowing companies to evaluate industry benchmarks relevant to their operations.
