2025 Holiday Survey Results

We received 51 submissions for the holiday survey this year. Thank you for participating! We hope this information will help you make the best staffing decisions this holiday season.

 Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day:

100% will be closed

Friday after Thanksgiving:

84% will be closed

16% will be open, the majority with a partial staff

 

 

Christmas

Christmas Eve:

59% will be closed

41% will be open, the majority with a full staff

Christmas Day:

100% of our survey respondents will be closed

 

New Year's

New Year’s Eve:

26% will be closed

74% will be open, the majority with full staff

New Year's Day:

96% will be closed

4% will be open, with half of those open operating with a full staff

 

This year, we also asked members whether they plan to offer any additional days off since the holidays fall midweek.

About 43 of the members surveyed also allotted for the office to be closed on Friday, December 26 for a long holiday weekend. Two member companies allowed employees to choose an additional paid holiday day off the week of Christmas.
